HOPE, Ind. – Due to a water main break east of Hope and north of Hartsville on Tuesday morning, the Eastern Bartholomew County Water Corporation says a water outage occurred for some residents in the easter portion of the county.
The affected area includes East Lake Site Drive, East Park Site Drive, East County Road 500N, North County Road 1000E, and North County Road 1050E.
The water service was restored and a Boil Water Advisory was issued through Thursday at 4 p.m.
Any water consumed should be brought to a rapid boil for at least five minutes. Then, let the water cool before consumption.
