FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Franklin Fire Department Merit Board honored Jim Admire this week for almost a quarter of a century of service to the city.
On Tuesday, Admire attended his last meeting representing the department’s Merit Board as its attorney. He has served in that spot for the last 24 years.
At the meeting, he was presented with a Franklin Fire Department (FPD) helmet with a special custom shield to thank him for serving FPD all these years.
Admire is leaving because last month the Johnson Circuit and Superior Court judges appointed the Franklin native to preside over the Magistrate Division.
