COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office )BCSO) arrested two individuals after serving an arrest warrant arrest in the parking lot at Arbors at Water’s Edge Apartment Complex on February 26, at around 2:30 a.m.
Deputies recognized Timeeka Ramsey and Richard Clark while traveling together in a vehicle on N. County Road 150W. The pair was initially detained because Ramsey had five outstanding Bartholomew County warrants.
A consensual search was conducted and law enforcement allegedly found methamphetamine, fentanyl, drug paraphernalia, and a digital scale in the car.
Ramsey, 39, of Columbus, remains in custody on a $390,000 bond and is charged with dealing in meth (level 3 felony), dealing in a narcotic drug (level 4 felony), possession of meth (level 5 felony), possession of a narcotic drug (level 6 felony), three separate Bartholomew County felony warrants for possession of narcotic drugs, a Bartholomew County misdemeanor warrant for visiting a common nuisance, and a Bartholomew County misdemeanor warrant for battery resulting in bodily injury.
Clark, 44, of Columbus, was booked for possession of meth and possession of a narcotic drug. He was later released on bond.
This is a preliminary investigation. All persons are innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
