COLUMBUS, Ind. – This Friday marks the first Friday of the Lenten season. Lent, the Christian holiday that lasts 40 days from Ash Wednesday to Easter, is widely celebrated locally and across the United States.
Some denominations choose not to consume meat on Fridays during the season, except for fish. This leads to many churches and groups hosting “Friday Fish Fries.”
If your group is hosting a fish fry, let Local News Digital (LND) know by emailing news@qmix.com.
