COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Bartholomew County Solid Waste Management (BCSWM) district says its first promotion of the mulch and compost loading season is “Free Senior Loading” on the last two Wednesdays of March.
Seniors should come with their truck or trailer on March 19 and 26 for one free scoop of either mulch or compost.
Go to the Yard Waste site adjacent to Columbus/Bartholomew Recycling Center, at 720 South Mapleton St. for your free scoop. Mulch and compost loading is reserved for Bartholomew County residents. This promotion is not for businesses. Call 812-376-2614 for product pricing and details for businesses.
