COLUMBUS, Ind. – Ivy Tech Community College will graduate 1,330 students from its Columbus Service Area at its 55th commencement ceremony on Friday, May 9, at the Columbus North High School Gymnasium. The ceremony begins at 6 p.m.
This year, over 1,900 credentials will be awarded, including associate degrees, technical certificates, and certificates. The top awarded degree programs include business administration, healthcare specialist, cybersecurity, industrial technology, and the Indiana College Core (30 credit hours of general education, college-level coursework), guaranteed to transfer between all Indiana public colleges and universities.
Graduating student Tanvi Dandawate will give the student address. Dandawate is earning an associate’s degree in business administration.
Kathy Oren, retired President and CEO of the Community Education Coalition and a former member of the Ivy Tech Campus Board of Trustees, will receive an honorary Associate of Science degree.
