COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Police Department, Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office, and the Indiana State Police will be participating in the annual Law Enforcement Memorial Service at 9 a.m. on May 16, in the Public Safety Plaza near Second and Brown Streets.
It will honor and pay respect to the 165 law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty in 2024, including two from Indiana.
The memorial service will take place on the Friday of National Police Week.
Everyone in the community is welcome to attend.
