EDINBURGH, Ind. – Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) contractor E&B Paving, Inc., is scheduled to close State Road 252 just west of I-65 on or after Monday, May 12, to complete a culvert installation project in Edinburgh.
The closure will take place between the I-65 interchange and Lind Drive/Shelby County Road 900W and should be completed in early July, weather permitting.
While this part of S.R. 252 is closed, motorists should use the detour route, which follows I-65 to Exit 76 to U.S. 31.
This work is part of a $15.4 million INDOT contract awarded in September 2024. Drivers are reminded to slow down, be cautious, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones.
All maintenance is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
