COLUMBUS, Ind.– Training for the next Mill Race Marathon kicks off this Saturday, May 31. The 17-week training program runs from May 31 to Sept 27 at Yes Cinema, in downtown Columbus, on Saturdays at 7 a.m. for 30 minutes, followed by a running practice as a group with Columbus Running Club.
The Mill Race Marathon training program for beginners offers a plan to ensure steady build-up mileage, and safety running tips help the participants to achieve their goal of completing the race. Running practices are comprehensive to help develop running strength and stamina.
The running practices (long runs, steady-pace runs, tempo run workouts) are supported by the Columbus Running Club. Training programs for marathon, half-marathon, and 5K races are included, with each program built to help all participants achieve success.
