COLUMBUS, Ind. – In celebration of Mill Race Theatre Company’s upcoming production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Willy Wonka has hidden 10 “Golden Tickets” in the Children’s Department of the Bartholomew County Public Library, and lucky finders can redeem them for a free ticket to the show.
The Golden Ticket Giveaway will run during the first week of July, and the public is invited to search the stacks for a chance to attend this magical stage production at no cost. Produced by Mill Race Theatre Company in collaboration with the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory will be performed July 17–20 at the Columbus East High School Auditorium.
The production promises a mix of local talent, live music, and all the charm of Roald Dahl’s beloved story. All “Golden Tickets” can be redeemed at the library’s front desk for one free admission. Winners can choose the performance date that works best for them.
