GREENWOOD, Ind. – The Johnson County Highway Department has announced two upcoming closures of Fairview Road, between Leisure Lane and Green Hills Court, in White River
Township in Greenwood.
Roadway modifications will be made to improve available vertical clearance at the Indiana Railroad bridge crossing over Fairview Road.
The first closure is this Friday, July 18, and that section of Fairview Road will be shut down to all traffic from 7:30 a.m. to late afternoon. It will reopen for the weekend.
The same area will again be closed to all traffic beginning Monday, July 21, at 7:30 a.m. and continuing all week until Friday afternoon.
Through traffic may utilize State Road 135, County Line Road, and Peterman Road to bypass the intersection closure. See the accompanying attached detour map.
