COLUMBUS, Ind. – City of Columbus and Bartholomew County officials remind residents that all of their offices will be closed this Monday, September 1, for Labor Day. This includes Columbus City Utilities, Bartholomew County Landfill, and Columbus/Bartholomew Recycling Center.
There will be no trash or recycling pickups on Labor Day in Columbus. All collections will run one day behind for the remainder of the week, with normal Friday collection on Saturday, September 6. City officials urge you to have your toters out by 7 a.m.
If you experience a problem with your water or sewer service during the holiday weekend, call Columbus City Utilities at 812-372-8861 and follow the prompts.
Regular business hours for all City and County offices will resume on Tuesday, September 2.
