COLUMBUS, Ind. – The 39th annual Our Hospice Summer Concert brought over 1200 attendees together at the Circle K Fieldhouse at NexusPark last Saturday night for a community gathering of music, celebration, and a great cause: Making Every Moment Count to support patient care and their loved ones.
With the support of concertgoers, raffle participants, sponsors, and benefactors, the event collected $71,000 to benefit Our Hospice programs and services.
“The generosity and support from our community is a blessing,” said Steph Cain, President of Our Hospice. “Every ticket purchased, raffle entry, sponsorship, and benefactor gift makes Every Moment Count. We thank Brian King and Tom Dowd, owners of Dunlap General and Mechanical Contractors, for being our 2025 Corporate Partners, and Columbus Regional Health, our Partner Sponsor.”
“We have ambitious goals as we look toward our 40th anniversary next year. We are expanding our services, training more volunteers, and working to ensure that quality hospice care reaches every corner of our community. This event brings us closer to that vision,” said Steph Cain.
This year’s $10,000 raffle sold over 3,700 tickets with Jamison Meyer picking up the grand prize. Additional winners included Mary Palmer ($500), Gail Guynn ($250), Angela Stewart ($150), and Lisa Owen ($100).
Funds raised from the concert directly support the mission of Our Hospice by providing hospice care, bereavement services, and palliative care for patients and families across south-central Indiana. For more information about Our Hospice, visit ourhospice.org.
