COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Bartholomew County Humane Society has once again received the “Best Friends No-Kill Shelter” award for 2024.
The shelter’s Board of Directors congratulates its staff and volunteers. Last year, 948 animals were served, and the lives of as many as possible were saved.
A spokesperson for the Bartholomew County Humane Society Board of Directors said, “Thank you to our staff and volunteers for their literal blood, sweat, and tears; our adoptive families for having open hearts; and our volunteers, donors, and supporters for their continuous generosity.”
