NORTH VERNON, Ind. – Our Hospice of South Central Indiana (OHSCI) has announced that Kim Halcomb has received the “BEE Award” for the 3rd Quarter of 2024.
Halcomb is a Home Health Aide (HHA) in North Vernon.
The BEE Award is given by OHSCI to exemplary non-clinical team members to recognize their outstanding efforts. Recipients can be nominated by teammates, patients, or the family of patients. Halcomb was selected because of her commitment to the patients at Our Hospice.
“Kim goes above and beyond with every patient,” wrote one of her co-workers. The team member added, “She finds creative ways to meet their needs. Kim is kind, respectful, and always looks out for changes in patients’ conditions and notifies nursing accordingly. She is a valuable asset to the North Vernon team.”
