NORTH VERNON, Ind. – The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) apprehended 51-year-old Ronald Miller during a traffic stop last week after discovering he had an active arrest warrant.
Deputies pulled over the suspect’s car on Thursday, May 15, for a traffic infraction. During the stop, they learned Miller was wanted on an active Bartholomew County arrest warrant with a $100,000 bond for Possession of Methamphetamine and resisting Law Enforcement.
While searching the vehicle, JCSO allegedly found about 8.1 grams of meth, 54 grams of marijuana, drug-relaated items, and two handguns inside.
Along with the arrest warrant, Miller faces the additional preliminary charges of:
- Possession of a Methamphetamine (Level 5 Felony)
- Possession of Paraphernalia (Misdemeanor)
- Possession of Marijuana (Misdemeanor)
- Possession of Firearm by Serious Violent Felon (Level 4 Felony)
