GREENWOOD, Ind. – Center Grove High School (CGHS) graduated a record 714 students on Sunday, June 1, in the high school’s Ray Skillman Stadium.
The Class of 2025 valedictorian was Quinn Smith, ending his high school career with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 4.855. He will attend Purdue University to study Aerospace Engineering. The salutatorian was Alexander Fan, with a GPA of 4.853. He plans to attend Harvard University and study Computer Science.
CGHS had 10 graduates planning to serve in the military following graduation, including four in the US Army, three in the US Army National Guard, and one each in the US Air Force, US Marine Corps, and US Navy.
Among the graduates, 274 seniors will receive Core 40 with Academic Honors diplomas, nine will receive Core 40 with Technical Honors diplomas, and 65 seniors will receive both.
Center Grove’s Early College (EC) program featured 109 seniors receiving an Associate of Science degree in General Studies from Vincennes University, along with their high school diploma. Eighty-three of those seniors have earned college honors.
Forty-six students received a 30-hour Indiana College Core certificate, which means they have met all requirements for general education courses at all state universities in Indiana.
