COLUMBUS, Ind. – Saucy chicken chain, Zaxbys, is celebrating the opening of its first location in Columbus. Located at the corner of National Road (U.S. 31) and Central Avenue, the new Zaxbys is owned and operated by Barred Rock, Inc. and will be open for both dine-in and drive-thru service starting Monday, June 16th.
“We are thrilled to be a part of the Columbus community with the opening of its first Zaxbys location,” said Jeff Furlin, Barred Rock Inc. President. “We look forward to serving our new guests the famous Chicken Fingerz and sauces we have been perfecting for 30+ years.”
Spanning 2,870 square feet, the new Zaxbys has 56 seats for dine-in guests and a drive-thru for expedited service. The new location’s Modern Farmhouse design features prominent branding with the restaurant’s signature colors, logo, and sauce-inspired art.
Customers may also order ahead online via zaxbys.com and through the Zaxbys app, available for download on Google Play and the App Store. You can order directly through the app, DoorDash, GrubHub, and Uber Eats.
This is the first Zaxbys location in Columbus. Barred Rock, Inc. worked with local contractors JRF Construction to build the new restaurant, and it is expected to provide up to 50 new employment opportunities.
